A Travelling Museum

This October a travelling museum will stop in New York City. This museum has been created to display items made exclusively for the brand Chanel to celebrate the 5oth anniversary of the iconic quilted Chanel 2.55 bag. The structure for this mobile museum was created by Zaha Hadid. I think the futuristic and original design of the museum is quite impressive especially since it was created in order to be disassembled and shipped around the world. The exhibition presented in this museum consists of pieces created by 20 international artists and that were inspired by the emblematic quilted Chanel bag. Nobody has created a travelling museum before which proves us once again how strong the Chanel brand is and also really makes me wonder what’s next for this amazing brand.
